This Week Recap #1: A Week of Re-reads, June 25, 2017

I’m feeling kind of guilty right now. This week, I’ve been kind of slacking off and had been reading books that I want to read. However, I get to re-enjoy my all-time favorites and discover new favorites, so I think it can be said that this is still a productive week. But next week, I’ll be getting on to work, and will be focusing on review readings, book blog, tours, and blitzes.

I’m joining my first blogging challenge ever! It’s the blogging ahead challenge hosted by Anna at Herding Cats Burning Soup Blog. I’m excited (and kind of nervous). Wish me luck!

This Week On the Blog:

Because summer had started for me, I’ve been more productive than usual and has been posting more posts this week. And I hope when I’m getting busy, I can keep it up.

This week is called ‘The Re-Read Week’ for a reason. I finished a total of three series in a matter of seven days (yes, it involved many of my blood, screaming and tears). Crystal Crowned I’m finished almost halfway through (so I’m counting it already as finished). And goddammit no matter how many times I read it, it never gets easier! I. Hate. Victor. So. Much. (Curse you Elise Kova for putting me through this!)

I had been putting this series on hold because I had been really busy re-reading series. This series is another disappointment for me because it did not like the hate/love relationship that I anticipated (even if it’s suggested to me for its ‘similarities’ with the Lux Series, which I loved.) However, the plot-line itself was enough to keep me reading, and I find myself continuing the series as it goes on (much to my wallet’s dismay).

This is my first ever weekly post ever! And I’m linking up with Caffeinated Book Reviewer‘s The Sunday Post. And I have to thank them too, for giving me this amazing idea.

It’s been a great week (and I hope it’ll be this great next week too). I’ll see you guys again next week!
